È incredibile, il fiorire di artiste R&B, specialmente quest’anno, vengono sfornate una quantità di dive e mini dive… insomma.. la discografia sta diventando sempre più veloce.. le one hit star sono sempre più numerose.
Cassie, però, sforna un singolo d’esordio decisamente convincente, il video creerà scalpore, diverso e particolare, e molto molto molto sfacciato. Me & U è una di quelle canzoni che non fanno subito presa ai primi ascolti, ma poi riascoltandola ti entra sotto la pelle e continui a canticchiarla.. La ragazza sembra fare sul serio, questa settimana è “greatest airplay” nella bilboard chart americana… e sale dalla posizione 13 alla numero 6!
Ci sono diverse versioni della canzone, che a dire la verità circola già da un po, ma solo ora ha bruciato il mercato, una versione è un duetto con Ray-J (fratello di Brandy), l’altro è un remix hiphop, l’altro invece è un feat. Ying Yang Twins.
Di lei si sa pochissimo.. non sono nemmeno riuscito a trovare un sito… che parlasse di lei! Sarà la sorpresa dell’estate? Vedremo…
