Il giovane rapper è stato da poco messo sotto contratto con la Young Money di Lil Wayne, mentre il video per “Best I Ever Had” è stato diretto da Kanye West. Niente male per un newbie, che però ha già collaborato con artisti del calibro di Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Omarion, Rihanna ed altri ancora. Ecco il video del singolo, che ne dite ?

io ho anche Room for improvement e Comeback season (più qualche altro mixtape non ufficiale e cose con gon Lil Wayne e la Young Money)…
Nei primi due sicuramente vedi che ha skills e certi versi e certe rime sono allucinanti, ma a livello di produzione e di beats non posso dire che siano eccezionali…
So far gone invece è un lavoro più maturo, concepito sicuramente come un album, tanto che io lo ascolto quasi sempre dall’inizio alla fine perchè è così che suona meglio…
E senza scherzi è l’ialbum più ascoltato nel mio iPod, ho guardato il contatore :D
Se decidete di scaricarlo (mi riferisco anche a Lil Joey) fatemi sapere che ne pensate, per me è molto molto valido…

Sinceramente mi aspettavo molto di più da questo video, è abbastanza divertente però potevano fare di meglio… Da Kanye mi aspettavo qualcosa di più originale!

Io credo moltissimo in Drake. Questa canzone non è sicuramente la miglior di So far gone (un mixtape che vale dieci retail album di tanti presunti rapper)… A livello di lyrics è impressionante, forse deve un po’ distanziarsi dallo stile di Lil’ Wayne come flow, ma è talentuosissimo…
Se è il featured artist del primo singolo dell’imminente Blueprint qualcosa vorrà pur dire…
Sono felice che gli stiano dando credito (nonostante fosse solo un attore di telefilm)… A me piaceva dai tempi di “Replacement girl” ma ora ha fatto un salto impressionante.
