 Keyshia ospite da Cathy Hughes R&B sensation and reality TV star Keyshia Cole is Cathy Hughes’ guest in an all-new TV One on One interview Sunday, Sept. 21 from 10-11 PM. The 26-year-old singer, songwriter and record producer talks with Ms. Hughes about her childhood, her future aspirations, her faith and what inspires her music in the revealing interview, which repeats at 1 AM (all times ET). Raised in Oakland and adopted by her foster mother because of her mother’s drug addiction, Keyshia met prominent rappers like M.C. Hammer, Snoop Dogg and Tupac at a young age and credits the late rap star as one of her early influencers, saying that Tupac told her at 13 that she was “going to be huge.” She also credits Mary J. Blige as one of her greatest inspirations and says,…”if I could walk in her footsteps just a quarter of the mile that she has already walked, it would be a blessing fulfilled.” Ms. Cole talks to Ms. Hughes about her upcoming CD, saying it’s going to be very different,than her previous two albums “’cause I’m not talkin’ about being so…heartbroken.” She tells Hughes…”it’s time to lighten up and have a good time for this album.” Ms. Hughes and Ms. Cole talk about her huge BET hit reality series, The Way It Is, the way her whole family is involved, how unusual it is to show African American families in therapy, and how important getting her family back in order is to Ms. Cole. She tells Ms. Hughes that she would like for the upcoming season to be the last one. When asked why, Ms. Cole says “Well, I’ve shown the beginning. I’ve shown the way that we’re tryin’ to change, and now this is what we’ve become.” When asked if there’s a side of Keyshia Cole that we have yet to see, the singer tells Ms. Hughes that in the next five years she definitely wants to become a mother and a wife. She also talks about her love of animals and her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, one she still hopes to fulfill later in life, and perhaps open a veterinary hospital. Ms. Cole talks about her relationship with God, saying, “…He’s a part of my life, and He’s the only thing that has kept me strong. And when there’s nothing else, when there’s no one else, when — you know, when everything’s gone, and has been gone, I’ve called on him, and I always will.” She is joined at the end of the interview by Ron Fair, the chairman of Geffen Records, who has been instrumental in Ms. Cole’s successful recording career. “What makes Keyshia great is the same kind of thing that great stars like Sylvester Stallone and Madonna have,” Fair says. “…she knows who she’s supposed to be to her audience. No one knows her more than her.” “I think, in the future, I don’t want to speak for Keyshia, but, we talk about movies, fashion, continuing the musical pursuits, her wanting to bring other artists along and develop other talent. “I don’t know about the veterinary business,” he adds. | Keysha Real Talk Keyshia Cole seems to be going through a 'breakthrough' of her own on her third studio album due later this year. Sitting down with TV One over the weekend, Cole says "I'm not talkin'about being so...heartbroken." Cole's major hits have all been about the ups and downs of love from "Love" to "I Should Have Cheated" to "Let It Go" and "I Remember," Cole has in many ways followed the path of one of her influences -- Mary J. Blige. "If I could walk in her footsteps just a quarter of the mile that she has already walked, it would be a blessing fulfilled" says Cole. Just like Mary did when she introduced us to "The Breakthrough" a few years back, Keyshia says its time for something different when it comes to her forthcoming album. "It's time to lighten up and have a good time for this album" says the Grammy-nominated singer. While she's staying 'mum' about her album in terms of producers, collaborations and so forth, Cole does admit she plans to "let it go" in five years to focus on becoming a wife, a mother and possibly a veterinarian. Keyshia Cole's third studio album is slated for release later this year. In related news, Keyshia Cole has issued another single from "Just Like You" entitled "Fallin Out". This marks Cole's 5th single from the Grammy-nominated and Platinum certified album "Just Like You." Pare quindi che l'album sia stato spostato per far uscire un quinto singolo da Just Like You, intanto al nuovo progetto, che dovrebbe chiamarsi Love, stanno lavorando anche Darkchild e Sean Garrett.

| Attenziò Battagliò Lasciatevi dare questa notizia sorprendente! Keyshia Cole ha registrato un "featuring" con 2Pac.. si tratta della traccia Play Ya Cards Right ke nn è mai stata rilasciata come singolo. Ecco le parole di Manny Halley, manager di Keyshia: “It was never a single. It was just a album cut that we did for him… We didn’t want to lose a hit record. We’re going to drop all the big singles with it, but we wanted to keep 2Pac and Keyshia because they never made it a single. So we made it a single.” In più domani KC registrerà il video x la canzone a Los Angeles, pare proprio ke verrà rilasciata come singolo.. sarà questo il 1° singolo? io ne sarei felicissimo Ecco la versione con Keyshia (Fonte)

 Cmq da premettere ke io questa canzone nn l'avevo ascoltata prima d'ora quindi mi va benissimo come primo singolo, 2Pac è sempre un grande! Ma x chi l'abbia ascoltata più di quelle volte non saprei quanto gli faccia piacere la scelta di questo primo singolo! Personalmente me ne sn innamorato
