Da mesi ormai che tutto il popolo dei lambs e non aspetta con ansia l’uscita del nuovo lavoro della regina Mimì reduce dal suo pluripremiato e “pluriplatinato” The Emancipation of Mimi.




Il nuovo album è stato più volte annunciato da Novembre nel corso di questi mesi ma non se ne vede ancora l’ombra. Tutti noi nel corso di questi mesi ci siamo attaccati più volte ad ogni singolo rumor e ad ogni minima notizia trapelata vera o falsa che sia. Ma negli ultimi giorni la Mariah Fever si sta scatenando, nei forum di mezzo mondo impazza l’ansia, l’attesa e soprattutto nel nostro forum , in cui c’è una sezione dedicata alla divina della musica mondiale, lambs e non lambs fanno supposizioni, critiche, muovono commenti a tutta forza.

L’ansia è aumentata in queste ultime ore per numerosissime notizie pubblicate sui siti di mezzo mondo. In particolare è stato annunciato da L.A.Reid, boss della Universal Island Def Jam, un listening party per pochi intimi allo scopo di presentare gli album di ritorno delle regine Janet e Mariah…


Nel corso del listening-party, in un primissimo reportage trapelato stanotte alle 2 ore italiana, un giornalista non molto amante delle due ha così commentato le canzoni che ha ascoltato anticipando il titolo (del tutto provvisorio e soprattutto non sappiamo se è vero) dell’album: That Chick. Il fantomatico giornalista che addirittura ha affermato che la musica era troppo alta ha così commentato alcune delle tracks ascoltate (sostenendo inoltre che le parole delle canzoni di Mariah non sono mai state un granchè…mha del tutto opinabile):

- Bye Bye (presentato come un sicuro tormentone radiofonico, addirittura il giornalista dice che sicuramente al prossimo American Idol tutte le ragazzine arriveranno cantando questa canzone) e tra l’altro è una canzone sentimentale dedicata a chi ha perso sua nonna.
- Lovin’ You Long Time e’ un uptempo stile it’s like that

che si aggiungono ai titoli che gia’ avevamo:
- Touch my body nella quale Mariah “fa le fusa al suo amato” e dice:”If there’s a camera up in here then I best not catch this flick on youtube” e qui il giornalista fa ancora il cattivello dicendo che dopo tutto questa non è la frase più sexy che abbia mai sentito…

- Migrate con T-Pain annunciata come un sicuro successo su Mtv che parla di una notte in giro con Mariah che indossa i suoi jeans…

- Heat
- I’m That Chick You Like .. titolo che a questo punto potrebbe nn essere di una canzone ma dare il nome all’album

Ragazzi concludo col dire che questo giornalista ha valutato entrambi igli album con 6/10 dopo essersi ancora una volta lamentato del volume dell’audio.

Dopo poco arrivano altri articoli sul listening party ed in particolare sul sito di Mtv.uk si danno ulteriori notizie ed alcune smentite.

Innanzitutto si afferma che il titolo è del tutto provvisorio e che le cover che sono state pubblicate e che vedono Mariah senza veli coperta da un solo cappello, non sono confermate. Si parla di altri titoli ed altre collabo tra le quali:

Si parla di un duetto con Damien Marley intitolato “Cruise control” e qui si suppone che mariah abbia esplorato il mondo della musica jamaicana.

Si parla di una “Loving You long time” e perfino di una ballata allo stile Mariah intitolata “Love Story”, unita alla strappalacrime “Bye bye” dedicata a coloro che hanno subito la grve perdita di qualcuno di caro. Ultimo titolo “O.O.C” Out of control che racconta di una notte fuori con Mariah ed il ritorno stesso da questa notte di follie. Insomma tutte notizie che stanno facendo fantasticare tutto l’universo “mariahnesco”. La data di uscita dell’album è stata inoltre annunciata per il primo aprile…che dire ragazzi stay tuned on rnbjunk.com and forum e di sicuro resterete aggiornati su tutto quello che c’è da sapere. Speriamo che presto un pò di materiale potrà essere pubblicato in rete.

Vogliamo precisare (R&BJunkie docet) che alcune voci su questi listening party, potrebbero essere appunto solo voci, le descrizioni, e cosa veramente questa gente abbia sentito non si sa, inoltre gli inglesi sono un popolo particolare nel giudicare i prodotti Americani, amano poco Mariah (poi ora che hanno Leona faranno di tutto per amarla ancor meno), quasi detestano Janet…! Pertanto non scoraggiatevi, non possiamo far altro che attendere, bellissima comunque questa esplosione di entusiasmo per Janet e Mariah, è un modo bellissimo per me e per i miei amici di promuovere due artiste specialissime!

Mtv Italia non si è mai cagata mariah carey e adesso per far vedere che ha una notizia su di lei prende e sbandiera l'uscita del disco che in america è preannunciata tra il primo e 15 aprile quindi figuriamoci se esce il 29 marzo, addirittura da per certo il titolo e la cover ed anche la tracklist che limita a soli dieci brani, praticamente un album così snello non si vede da emotions, ammesso che fosse così magro deve farne come minimo due e ragazzi non dimenticate che avremo anche la sountrack di Tennessee in cui mariah ha cantato!!!!!

Ecco ragazzi vi posto quello che pensa uno dei Dj che è stato invitato al listening party, io mi fido di ciò che dice, alla fine non può dire molto ovviamente perchè è stato a tutti tassativamente ordinato di tacere, ma non è valso per tutti, però dà delle linee generali. questo è un amico di un ragazzo che getisce il fan club belga di Mariah Carey, heroesofmariah e così dice:

" It's always a big occasion when Janet drops a new album, even if the last two were pretty poor and basically unsuccessful in comparison to all of her previous albums but for me I always wish the best for her and hope that she'll be back on top making more timeless music. I was at the play back for her and Mariah's new albums hosted by Island Def Jam Chairman - L.A Reid last week in Central London, so I've heard 80% of the album and from what I remember most of the album was up tempo with a massive club sound, but Janet's vocals never stood out over any of the tracks apart from the slower ones where she puts on that super sexy voice. I dunno maybe when I hear the album again I might feel differently about it but for the now the memories are not that great I'm sorry to say.
As for Mariah OMG! She done did again - whooo hoooo! Wait till to hear that."

Rodney Jerkins produced quite a bit of Mariah's album, and my friend thinks he produced "Touch My Body".

"Heat" was produced by will.i.am - and is a "straight" club banger (he made it a point to say straight and not "gay", LOL).

Mariah is really pushing for "Migrate" to be the single, but the label obviously wants "That Chick", which was written by Ne-Yo.

My friend says he has heard "Migrate", "Heat" which are both uptempo club tracks, and "Love Story", which is "verryyyyy slow but still hot."

Se queste info sono attendibili beh....l'album sembra promettere bene.

Riguardo le ballate, di "Love Story" siamo ormai certi....la seconda potrebbe essere "Bye Bye" essendo una canzone sentimentale..non so! (lo spero).

Circa le informazioni del forum io non darei troppa attenzione...l'affidabilità di dei forum è sempre limitata...poi un'altra Loverboy io spero proprio di NO!

La voce di "Touch my body" era stata messa in giro su internet e se ne stava parlando...non è mai arrivata nessuna conferma! Ormai c'è solo da attendere.

Addirittura stanotte in un forum americano si attendeva che una rdio di chicago mandasse in onda il singolo, me dopo poco si è rivelato essere un falso allarma o qualche stupido che voleva aumentare l'audience della radio stessa, mha ormai si può dire tutto e il contrario di tutto.

Mariah Carey fans may be the only people that will avoid being tricked on April Fools' Day when the songbird's new album That Chick drops on April 1. Featuring T-Pain and Damian Marley, the album will include a mix of songs that range from breezy pop tunes to urban club bangers, according to Billboard.com. Song titles include "Lovin' You Long Time", the ballad "Love Story", "Migrate" which features T-Pain, "Touch My Body", and "OOC" - which is short for "out of control".
