Finalmente torna il Re del Pop, ma non con della musica inedita, ma dei remix per celebrare i 25 anni dal top seller album di tutti i tempi, il suo splendido “Thriller”! Il primo singolo estratto per celebrare questo evento è già andato in tutte le radio mondiali, si tratta di una rivisitazione di Akon di “Wanna Be Startin’ Something” una delle canzoni più ispiratrici di tutti i tempi del nostro amato Re del Pop! Esce in un momento dove anche Rihanna sta a suo modo ricelebrando il Re con “Don’t Stop The Music” la vera canzone leader di queste settimane.

La rivisitazione di Akon è molto bella, per niente rivoluzionaria e non invasiva.. insomma una bellissima opera di “restaruro” di quel grande capolavoro! Sono veramente felice che Michael stia ritrovando la via per fare il suo comeback, è da ben 7 anni assente dalle scene, sono veramente moltissimi, e spero che i suoi ultimi album della carriera (Mike non è più giovanissimo), ripristineranno il suo status di “Re del Pop”!

C’è anche un re-edit 2008 di Will.I.Am per la canzone “The Girl Is Mine”, questa la trovo un po’ troppi invasiva e sostanzialmente modifica molto la canzone originale, non mi piace molto, sarà perchè non son grande fan della musica di Will ultimamente!
