50 Cent feat Chris Brown – No Romeo No Juliet | video premiere

Sembra essere nata una buona affinità artistica fra il rapper 50 Cent ed il cantante Chris Brown. Le due grandi star dell’urban, entrambi i quali vantano un repertorio di un certo livello ed un ottimo seguito nel loro ambito, hanno pubblicato proprio ieri il video del loro duetto “I’m the Man”, ma quest’oggi sono già pronti a presentare al mondo intero un altro duetto, il quale comparirà anch’esso nel prossimo album di Fiddy “Street King Immortal”, disco che verrà pubblicato ad agosto 2016.

Il brano è una potentissima up tempo urban dal sound potente e tenebroso, che incalza l’ascoltatore fin dal primo istante con un frenetico suono di piano, presto accostato a sonorità più pacate ma ancora molto forti. Il piano iniziale non ci lascia mai liberi, e continua mantenere un velo di tensione sull’intero brano, una trovata a nostro avviso grandiosa.

Il flow di 50 Cent cavalca con forza questo beat, ed in un primo momento Chris sembra accompagnarlo soltanto con un ritornello e qualche verso cantato: invece ben presto anche Breezy tira fuori le sue rime ed il suo flow per calarsi alla perfezione nel ruolo di rapper, il quale a dire la verità gli appartiene già da tempo. Il risultato è fenomenale, ed il buon Chris ci sembra forse addirittura migliore di Fiddy nella traccia. Fenomenali anche i cori che si sentono sul finale, ciliegina su una torna già gustosa, e con un retrogusto particolare.

Oltre a rilasciare la traccia, i due artisti ne hanno già girato anche un videoclip. Il visual somiglia a tanti video urban ambientati in club a luci rosse, e non aggiunge nulla alla canzone.
