Il primo album self titled dei DNCE vedrà la luce il prossimo 18 novembre, e la band di Joe Jonas dopo la traccia “Blown”, decide di regalarci una piccola anteprima del progetto discografico, una traccia intitolata “Good Day”, già esibita dal quartetto in passato. Ricordiamo che nel disco saranno contenute anche “Body Moves” (guarda il video QUI), “Toothbrush”, nonché la hit “Cake By The Ocean” (QUI per tutte le info sul nuovo disco).
Dal punto di vista del sound questo pezzo si discosta un po’ da quello che ci aveva ricordato il lato più commerciale dei Maroon 5, rifacendosi invece a sonorità tipiche dei Beatles, con tanto di cori ed hand-clapping. Il testo fa riferimento alla mattina successiva ad una notte folle e densa di alcool, occasione durante la quale in genere ci sentiremmo uno schifo, tuttavia l’interprete si propone di essere ottimista ed affrontare positivamente la giornata.

Sicuramente un’album track piuttosto apprezzabile, noi siamo curiosi di ascoltare il materiale proposto dai ragazzi e vedere se in un modo o nell’altro Joe Jonas riuscirà a trovare la sua strada dal music biz, dal momento che attualmente solo il fratello Nick è riuscito a mantenere negli anni un certo grado di rilevanza. Grazie al supporto che le radio gli stanno dimostrando i DNCE potrebbero ottenere ancora altre hit, voi pensate che abbiano futuro come band oppure no?
