Nuova musica da parte della cantante americana Fantasia Barrino. Il brano si intitola “Sleeping With The One I Love” e sarà incluso nel prossimo album dell’artista “The Definition Of…”, in uscita il prossimo 29 luglio. Il disco sarà il quinto in carriera per l’artista, ormai sulle scene da ben 12 anni, ed anche questa volta ci promette grande qualità, come del resto non potrebbe non accadere date la raffinatezza del suo stile e la bellezza della sua voce, sicuramente una delle più particolari e riconoscibili nel panorama musicale americano.
Per quanto riguarda dell’ultimo brano rilasciato, si tratta di un brano trascinante dalle atmosfere fortemente vintage, un fascino d’altri tempi che emerge sia nella produzione (strumenti impiegati e ritmiche scelte) che nell’impostazione vocale, la quale ci trasporta dritti indietro verso gli anni ’30, ’40 e ’50. Molte sono le brave vocalist che si sono spinte in queste atmosfere, le quali hanno fatto da concept anche a dischi interi come “Back to Basics” di Christina Aguilera, e da parte di interpreti dotati di voci particolari e potenti come quella di Fantasia esperimenti del genere non possono non entusiasmarci.
Passiamo ora al video. Fantasia interpreta contemporaneamente varie donne finite tutte quante in galera in seguito ad essere state incastrate dall’uomo che diceva di amarle, personaggio dall’atteggiamento carismatico ed intrigante che continua ad ammaliarle nelle loro più recondite fantasie. L’atmosfera è raffinata ma profondamente sensuale nel contempo, e soprattutto verso il finale si vivacizza grazie ad una Fantasia che si atteggia da femme fatale con abiti di una certa classe.
