Younger Now assume sempre più le sembianze di un vero e proprio ritorno alle origini per Miley Cyrus che sceglie ancora una volta un brano country a pochi giorni dall’arrivo del suo prossimo album.
Forse è il disco a cui Miley tiene di più, considerando che è il primo a cui partecipa attivamente come composistrice e co-produttrice di tutti i pezzi:
“Questo processo di scrittura è stato diverso [dagli altri] perchè non ho mai pubblicato un album del genere prima d’ora. Le persone mi chiedono – è forse un modo per presentare una nuova immagine di te? – ma per me non è così. In realtà è più la mia volontà di far pace con il passato. In quest’album sono più me stessa di quanto abbia potuto esserlo [prima].”
