In una settimana dal rilascio dell’album The Thrill of It All (3 novembre in tutti i negozi), questa è un’altra grande traccia che sarà parte del progetto Burning, selezionato come il terzo singolo estratto.
La traccia, una ballata toccante, è stata descritta da Sam come la sua canzone preferita, così come il pezzo chiave che identifica il percorso che ha portato alla nascita del disco. Intervistato da Zane Lowe, il cantante ha anche spiegato che solo quattro dei 14 dei Thrill of It All parlano delle sue esperienze personali e Burning è uno di questi, in quanto riferisce il suo difficile rapporto con se stesso.
