Nuovo video a sorpresa per The Weeknd. Si tratta della clip che accompagna il bellissimo brano “Reminder”
The Weeknd sorprende tutti i suoi fan nella giornata del suo ventisettesimo compleanno, con il rilascio del video di “Reminder”. Il brano é ovviamente contenuto all’interno del suo ultimo album “Starboy”.
Nella clip, abbiamo il cameo di diversi altri artisti del panorama musicale urban, ed in particolare Drake, A$AP Rocky, Travi$ Scott, Nav, French Montana, YG.

Nessuno si aspettava che The Weeknd avrebbe rilasciato il video di “Reminder”, soprattutto dopo le insistenti voci secondo cui il prossimo singolo da “Starboy” sarebbe stato “Secrets”. Tuttavia questa “Reminder” non é stata rilasciata ufficialmente come singolo, almeno per adesso. Intanto su iTunes USA sta prendendo sempre più terreno “I Feel It Coming”.

Tre anni fa, durante il suo ventiquattresimo compleanno, The Weeknd ha dato ai fan un bel remix “Drunk In Love” di Beyoncé.
“Reminder” é una delle tracce che ci piace maggiormente dell’album. Malinconica e cupa midtempo R&B, con Reminder The Weeknd risponde a chi lo accusa di essere cambiato rispetto a quello degli inizi. Abel assicura che è sempre la stessa persona, il suo stile di vita tra droghe, feste e successo è immutato, e solo il sound delle sue canzoni ora è più aperto ad un gruppo più ampio di persone.
