Tinie Tempah fa squadra con Wiz Kid nel nuovo singolo “Mamacita” (VIDEO)
Nuovo singolo e video per il rapper britannico Tinie Tempah. L’artista, che di recente ha collaborato con Zara Larrson in un remix della super hit “Lush Life” e nel suo nuovo singolo “Girls Like”, pubblicherà il suo nuovo album “Youth” il prossimo 16 settembre, una data un po’ lontana ma che effettivamente gli eviterà di incappare nel periodo di drastico calo di vendite che si verifica ogni estate. Del resto, pubblicare un disco ad agosto sarebbe ancora più destabilizzante del solito visto che ormai le vendite degli album sono bassissime anche negli altri periodi dell’anno.
In ogni caso, dopo il successo ottenuto appunto con il singolo in duetto con la Larrson, Tinie non deve assolutamente adagiarsi sugli allori e deve cercare di ottenere un buon tormentone estivo al fine di mantenere il suo nome in alto nelle classifiche fino all’arrivo del suo terzo album in studio. Per questa ragione, il rapper ha deciso di fare squadra con uno che ormai di duetti con rapper arrivati in cima alle classifiche ne sa abbastanza: il cantante nigeriano Wiz Kid, già presente nel brano di Drake “One Dance”.
Il brano in questione si intitola “Mamacita” ed è una traccia dal sound fresco, solare ed estivo, molto latineggiante sia per il cantato spanglish del ritornello (di cui si occupa Wiz) che per il ritmo che si ripercuote poi anche nelle strofe, in cui Tempah domina la scena con un flow perfetto per la base. Anche il video si accosta molto bene alla traccia, ed il loro connubio crea del materiale abbastanza forte per poter ottenere numerosi passaggi nei canali musicali televisivi.
