Il duo EDM The Chainsmokers rimane alla 1 della Hot 100 con “Closer” ft Halsey. Il singolo è a 162.000 downloads (un’enormità rispetto agli avversari) ed inoltre detiene 38,9 mln di streaming e 127 mln in radio (+12%). Ora come ora è davvero irraggiungibile per tutti.
Secondo posto per “Heathens” dei Twenty One Pilots, il brano è a 85.000 downloads mentre in radio sale a 94 mln in radio. Infine nello streaming songs chart, è a 21 mln (-3%). “Cold Water”, il singolo di Major Lazer ft Justin Bieber & MO, rimane alla 3 con un bottino totale di 19,9 mln in streaming. Cala però nelle vendite: dalla 4 alla 10 (43.000, -40%, è finito lo sconto su iTunes US). Infine in radio è a 121 mln in audience.
Sale ancora “Let Me Love You” dalla 6 alla 4. Grazie a 14,6 mln in streaming, 45.000 downloads e 72 mln in radio, la canzone dei DJ Snake ft Justin Bieber pare poter salire ancora. Shawn Mendes raggiunge un nuovo peak alla 6 con “Treat You Better”, mentre invece “Don’t Let Me Down” scende alla 7. Alla 8 arriva per la prima volta in top 10 “Broccoli” di D.R.A.M. ft Lil Yachty. Con 29.000 downloads e 17,3 mln di streams il singolo guida anche la Hot Rap Songs. In radio è solo a 31 mln.
Charlie Puth e Selena Gomez salgono per la prima volta alla 9 con “We Don’t Talk Anymore”. Infine alla 10 “This Is What You Came For” di Calvin Harris e Rihanna. Per Rihanna potrebbe essere l’ultima settimana in top 10 dopo 8 mesi. Intanto Calvin Harris debutta alla 24 con “My Way”. Il singolo ottiene 53.000 downloads e 6 mln di streaming e 27 mln di audience. Un altro debutto importante è alla 40, “Starboy” di The Weeknd ft Daft Punk (28.000 downloads, 36 mln).
